Early Childhood
Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) Consultation services provide essential support to young children, families, and educators at no cost. These services focus on enhancing social-emotional well-being and school readiness for children from birth to age eight. Through 4-8 short-term sessions, ECMH consultants work closely with children, caregivers, and school staff to implement tailored strategies. This collaborative, family-centered approach includes assessments, brief interventions, and referrals to additional resources when needed, promoting strong, healthy relationships and creating a supportive foundation for early childhood development. ECMH consultation services are funded by the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County and provided by OhioGuidestone.
