Crisis Services
When your child or family is struggling, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Whether something feels urgent, overwhelming, or just “not right,” support is available. Families define what a crisis means for them — if it feels like a crisis to you, it matters to us. Through 988, Mobile Response & Stabilization Services (MRSS), and local walk-in crisis assessment options, help is available to listen, support, and connect your family to the right care at the right time.

Mobile Response & Stabilization Services
Families with youth and young adults up to age 21 who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health distress can access support through Mobile Response & Stabilization Services (MRSS). By calling or texting 988, families can connect with a trained crisis counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Immediate, in-person mobile response is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Requests received outside of those hours can still be made through 988, and an in-person response will be scheduled during the next available business hours. Following the initial response, families may be eligible for up to 42 days of intensive, in-home stabilization services and connection to ongoing supports.

Services provided by the MRSS team may include safety assessments, de-escalation, peer support, skill building, care coordination, and linkage to community resources.
